Tuesday

It's almost noon and I haven't even started getting ready yet. One reason I'm still at home is the weather. It's been raining for the past two days and it's just plain ugly. I love the rain, don't get me wrong. Though, I love it when it's about 80 degrees and then the rain comes and cools it all down. Now?! It cooled down, that is for sure. It's not a cooling though I prefer and I'm sure I speak for a lot of people out there. Plants might love it now but it screws a lot of things for us humans. Planned trips or events got cancelled. Wishing the weather might get better or hoping for some sun is something impossible right now. I've heard it's going to be warmer as the weekend approaches but still, now it's all wet, grey and yucky. Plus, living in my country you mainly take either public transportation or you simply walk. The latter is my thing. I walk; a lot. Even today I will walk. No doubt about that. I just have to figure out how I am going to walk through my city so I won't get all soaking wet (with an umbrella of course).
This then reminds me of last Wednesday while I was walking along the promenade towards the pier and back home. It was a gloomy and foggy morning but I'd rather have that than what we have to deal with today. Though, I have to admit it's all silly...why do I (and a lot of other people) complain about something like this whereas others suffer in this world. We should be happy being able to even have the chance to use the Internet to let our thoughts free (and being able to buy umbrellas or even have shoes to walk in)...shouldn't we?!
