No Parking - Thank you!

This is what I saw yesterday while walking through the city and exploring some new areas and places.
Now that's a sign I want to have!

Hope you had a great start into this week.
Mine was rather slow.

I got a job offer today. I turned it down.
Now if you are following me on twitter you know why.
It was my old job, and as much as I need the money and would love to get back into some sort of a routine I will not do this to me. I will not sacrifice myself and get myself into this kind of work again, just to help them out and just to earn money. I did this, and no one ever thanked me for it. I suffered, and it made me sick. I will not go there again. And if so, I want a big fat monthly payment (one they cannot afford unfortunately) and at least two people gone before I even step into that place again. None of that will happen, so I won't go. Though just knowing that they are in trouble, and need some good, sincere, and knowledgeable people, ha me!!!, was a good thing to hear today. My heart was jumping up and down. I was happy that things got worse since I left. Yes, I was happy. I still am because I turned the offer down!

Have a terrific day!

xoxo,

♥ S ♥

I think you were right to turn it down, I would have done the same thing.

I feel ya. A bad job is not worth any bit of money. I'd rather be dirt poor and eating ramen noodles every day than working at a job that slowly stole my soul.

Well it's good you turned it down. Serves them right. I don't think it would do any good to work for a company where the working environment is no longer healthy.

Aw sorry about the job situation, but at least you know your limits and what you will or won't do. Your happiness is much more important!

Good for you! I think it is very important that you are putting yourself first right now. That is the healthiest thing to do in the long run. Plus, you are young and lucky to be able to make a decision like that. :)

haha my friend has this sign on his driveway. Yes he has a Landrover. The sign on our parking space says 'don't even think about parking here' cos tourists kept parking there to visit the sea side haha x

Good for you for turning it down!

Not having a job is rough, but having a job you dread and hate is much worse. ♥

That's quite a discriminating sign...
but I love it ♥

No need to settle for less than the best, you made the right decision.

I'm so glad for you that you knew to turn down the job. No way should you go into something again that made you suffer before! {Love the sign, hehe!}

Good for you! Sometimes a paycheck isnt worth what it does to you - I'm so glad to hear you know what's worth it and what isn't.

You are dead right. Recently faced by a similar dilemma myself and I know I, too, made the right decision. xx

My twitter cut off like 3 days of tweets while I was out of town, so I totally missed this! They offered you your old job back? Crazy! Maybe they will realize people are causing problems and get rid of them. That's gotta make you feel good.

I am so proud of you! I am. I wish I could quit my job to begin with. I feel like such a coward.
But for good reason.

Don't go back. Please don't. I hope you find a job that you would love.

Good for you!! It's always better to put your health before money (though you do need money to live!). I am sure the right thing will find you at the right time :)
