Zoe Saldana - Girl Crush

It has been a while since I shared my Girl Crush with you. I don't know if I should make this a monthly thing on my blog because we all have someone we look up to; whether it is an actor/actress, singer, politician, professor, you name it. We admire their story, beauty, their effort to change the world, their strength, and their intelligence.

Zoe Saldana is no exception. I think the first time I fully noticed her was in Guess Who. I might have seen her here and there in a few roles on TV, but when Avatar landed in theaters the craze about Zoe went spiral so to speak. However, even today not many know her or pay much attention. Maybe it's her laid-back and no-drama life. Either way, I like her. She's not only stunning but makes Hollywood glamorous, she's also one of the cutest pregnant actresses currently walking around. Plus, she has style, and represents timeless beauty. So glad I bumped into her years ago, she was sorry for not paying attention and being on her phone that day. Totally made my day, or back then my year!

I always loved this show.
 

Yet, today it's not about the movie.
It is about the actress.
It is time to share my girl crush again.

Kristen Bell has always been one of my favorites.
I guess it's her height (hello fellow shorty), or her way of living.
She acts and looks like the girl next door.
Her true beauty is simply just naturale.

Mark Your Calendars - Veronica Mars Is Back!!

I don't what you did years ago but when I was off from school I watched TV - specifically I watched  Veronica Mars. You don't know what or who that is?! This is either a sign that I am old or you are missing out. Or both. 

Either way, this TV show was awesome and so entertaining. No wonder I was beyond sad when it ended. BUT, when I read that they were planning on making a film...I died!! In fact I'm dead. Kidding. I'm so stoked it's not even funny anymore. I think I just turned 19 again. Veronica was my heroine. Literally. Not to mention Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, and Ryan Hansen all united - again. Perfect. So, mark your calendars...March 14 it is!

Zooey Deschanel - Girl Crush

I miss my Girl Crush Posts. We all have them, and it's okay. Quite normal to be exact. So I decided to go for it again and share with you another one... Zooey Deschanel. Who else? 

She's the friend I never fully had. The girl that kicks my butt when I'm down but in a fun way. The one that makes me smile and inspires me to wear my glasses all day long and wherever I go, and still look cool. And the one showing us all that bangs can in fact look great too. Plus, she's my age, not older or younger, and it makes me happy...I'm not the only one not fully acting my age. YAY! ;) 

And let's be honest, New Girl cracks me up every time I watch it. I simply had to share my Girl Crush.

Hope you are having a fabulous week.

It's gotten hot again...no wonder I'm already sweating by 9am. Ha! :) Just kidding. Maybe.

I had fun reading your comments about my commercial obsession. For the record, I have a DVR and I love it too...but once in a while I just don't hit forward because I don't want to rush that part of my life either - everything else seems so hectic these days and so out of control sometimes, that I just long for quiet and slow moments, so why not NOT skip through commercials?! Ha. I know it's just me but thought I'd share this little info as well. :) 

It's Wednesday, and I'm linking up (late!) with Michelle and her weekly, Oh How Pinteresting Wednesday. My theme this week is literally a girl crush I have had for years. Yes, we can have that too...boy crushes, girl crushes, dog crushes...whatever. So today it is no other than Marion Cotillard. She not only represents Paris or France but Europe to me! Kind of makes me less homesick! :)

Jessica Alba - Girl Crush

My girl crush this month is none other than Jessica Alba.
We have agreed on the fact that we are allowed to have girl crushes...right?

I also blame my girl crush this month on the fact that I had my hair cut last week and I hate it. It looks healthy and it isn't too short, but it is just so not following my instructions. My hair doesn't listen to me. That's it. So, I am desperately trying to make myself happy by looking at gorgeous hair and well, Jessica does have gorgeous hair.

I prefer her though as a brunette. Do you?

Friday - Girl Crush

I have to admit I have always liked Rachel Bilson and her style. If I was a guy I'd be all over here. Haha. But jokes aside she is just so naturally pretty. And as a girl, I love her style. Granted, we all have our ups and downs, and even the best dress women today happen to wear something incredibly horrible once or twice in their life. It just happens. I may not always agree with Rachel's fashion choices but I pretty much always loved them and probably always will because it's a combination of girlie, down-to-earth, and fun! My style could not be described better through Rachel's style. 

Wish I had more space for clothes, more money to buy more (not necessarily going for the expensive kind), and more time to wear it all. :) Nonetheless, I like her style, and wish I had her hair. Why did I ever think of having mine cut?! It's a pain to let it grow...but it's worth it!

Friday - Girl Crush

My girl crush this week (for a while to be honest) is Emma Stone!

We are allowed to have girl crushes, right?

Since I'm desperately growing my hair out again I also want to change my color. I'm tired of my brown hair although it's my natural color. Spring is around the corner and I need some inspiration. Just looking at her color (not her natural as you may know!) makes me want to change mine so badly. Suggestions?!
