My friends...

My friends know me.
Some know me better, others know me just a little bit and pretend they know me.

Some friends or pretend-to-be friends wanna know me, but can't get around the wall I'm holding tight around me. Some wish I would act, think, behave, or just be different. I will not change myself for others.
I may know a little more trivia about a film, a show, a person, a place, a country or just any info than others. Sometimes I don't know anything at all. It's what it is. Don't judge, don't ask, don't frown. Accept it.

My awesome friend M. knew I needed a pick-me-up and that fast. She knew I had been feeling shitty for the past few weeks and felt like it was time to cheer me up. I wasn't happy-Selma and I wasn't secure-feeling Selma. She let me vent, she let me be me. I thank her for that. I truly appreciate her friendship! 

To cheer me up she randomly sends me texts with hot men. She knows me well. She also knows I'd bail her out if she ever came close to the same men because she could not contain herself and probably get herself into trouble. I'd probably collapse first (probably not, I can act my part and pretend everything's cool).

I'd bail her out...because she's my friend.
I'd have to just keep myself steady from not collapsing because if I saw both of these men (especially the first) I'm not so sure now if I'm the one who needs to bail someone out or if M needs to bail me out. Eeeeeek! :)

 

Hmmmm, my friend really knows me well.
I feel so much better right now.

Man Candy Monday - Sigh!

It's Monday. It's officially summer for me, and well, I just feel like a good man candy is needed today and for the rest of the week. I'm packing, organizing, mentally preparing myself, you name it. I need a distraction that really distracts me and yes, some eye candy does the job. Right.

Man Candy Monday Again!

It's Man Candy Monday time.

I'm so busy, and lazy at the same time that I could not come up with a HOT dude for Monday.

But hey, guess what I found one (I blame it on all those previews I've been seeing on TV and elsewhere!)!!

And Leeann, we do have the same taste here! LOL

Have a great Monday - Man Candy included

Hope you all survived this weekend...I did!

Saturday night we all went out for way too much Korean food, and I have to say I think I'm about to become a vegetarian. I love meat, but there was a time in my life I happily survived without it, and I think and know I can do it again. I just feel it's time again.

Sunday...well, Sunday I slept in and enjoyed the cool air. Sort of. It was incredibly freezing while we were waiting in line for an hour to a free Sunday Recovery Brunch. We were not hungover but I am sure there were people that were still tipsy from the night before. ;) And really, Sunday was a great day...very relaxing. I also got an email from my teacher saying our class is cancelled on Monday (hello, I love him already more now!). He was sick and knew he's not going to make it...so yes, Sunday was a good day! Well, technically still is!!!

I have three papers due (one is done, two more to go and I don't know where to start!), a test and some awkward speech, too. Hmmm....not sure if I can handle all this. One step at a time I guess.

So my lovely readers...

This week's going to be interesting...busy and still not that busy at all.
I have everything scheduled in my calendar so I know what I'm going to do when and how and where...I have papers due, tests to study for, a stupid speech (once a week, always!), and a life to live, too. Wish me luck!

But today, like most of Mondays...I just thought I'm going to enjoy some hot Man Candy again.

Man Candy Monday...

...guys, I couldn't resist. I've been stuck at home all weekend long doing nothing special but study for a stupid test that I'm having today, and spending some me-time. It's my favorite time. I have to admit it. I get easily bored and yes I was bored, but it was so good to enjoy some me-time. Who doesn't?

And what did I do? Watch TV, movies, and had some wine time on my own. ;) Yay!!!

And so I got a little inspired for today's Man Candy Monday post...seriously, this idea is awesome.

I know I know...he's gone through all kinds of crap in his life. His fault, others' fault...life happened one way or another. Though, I have to admit, I have liked him for years...even when he was all down at the very bottom of the bottle holding onto probably nothing but a glimpse of ridiculous hope. I still liked him. I'm trying to remember how I started my little obsession with him...it was in the early 90s...I think it was AirAmerica...and then Chaplin?! Who knows. But it's been a very long time. And yes, if you go back and see when these movies came out and that I actually went inside a theater to watch them...do the math, I'm not 20, or 25! Oh my.

Either way, I need some hot Man Candy today...so I'm going over to Leeann's to check some more hotness out. :)
