Quick and Easy

I'm back. Almost.
It's been a crazy week, and it's just so impossible right now for me to even think straight.
At 5am I got home today and I am back online already. After five hours of deep sleep I woke up again and it's not funny. It's so not nice either. Everything is sore, and my head feels like a giant potato hit by a pineapple...ok, I know this doesn't make sense. Not even to me. However, it's what it feels like.

I have a lot to catch up on.
My google reader says 228, so it's still bearable. ;)
I also participated in a project I am more than thrilled about, but haven't had time to fully focus on.
At least for right now.

Let me wake up, fully, and then live life again...
...besides...in about one month I'm heading over to awesome Philadelphia.
Haven't had a chance to look for souvenirs either.
What am I gonna do...what am I gonna by...what am I gonna find?????

And spring? Well, we're hoping our Carnival season helped and got rid of winter.
After all, this is the main traditional purpose of this crazy and so-called fifth season over here.
Carnival time means time to scare winter away...let's hope it worked!!!!
I took a few pictures...not many though and will post them soon.
Plus, I might be adding more from other places so at least I can share the fun and craziness with you all.
It was exciting, it felt good, and it felt like home to me.

Survived?!

Hardly.
How was everyone's Vday?! Mine of course sucked.
I was working and I felt like sleeping rather than working but I was a good girl and worked hard!!!

Carnival isn't over. It's just about to start again.
Three more days and then it's all history. I'm okay with that.

I have been a bad blogger and hardly commenting but always reading your lovely posts and all.
At some point I was swammed with wonderful messages, and posts I didn't know where to begin.
It's not going to be better now...I am down to zero posts, which is amazing but I'm sure by the time I get some time to sit down and read some high number is gonna show up on my screen and I predict...maybe something like 300?! We'll see.

But...I wanted to share some love today. After all it is that kind of time...and why not share it with some cute awards and stuff?! I was given a few over the past few days and I want to thank those wonderful and inspirational ladies right now for thinking of me, including me, and just reading me. Thank you all. You made my day. Woooooohooooooooo!!!!! Can you see me smile now?!

 Oh boy...ten years from now I will be older than today and this my lovelies is going to scare me. Yes, a number doesn't say much but I'm gonna be at an age I don't want to be. I saw the movie too! ;)
Liked it.
Have been busy at work.
But most importantly been busy with this Carnival thing in town.
I had a great afternoon yesterday. Ended up having extremely frozen toes (even with three pairs of socks) but it was all worth it. Life's good. Today. It's a bit past 8pm and I'm about to crash any second.

Happy V-day tomorrow.
I'm so not gonna do a thing.

P.s. Yesterday at work I got a huge package, and on that thing my name was written on it. Knew who sent me that stuff...knew what was in there too. Thanks S. It was great to get cute flowers. I was lucky enough my mom showed up and took them home for me, because they would have gone bad with me spending four more hours in the city with my favorite kids ever. Aunt Selma knows how to spoil. Good!!! ;) And yes, Pembe was with me too...tried hard to take some pics without looking too much like a tourist. I just hate that. :(  ;)

1. I am hoping my Valentine's day this year includes  relaxed guests, chill co-workers and no snow  .

2. My biggest guilty pleasure is   tv.  I am obsessed. Seriously obsessed  .

3. I am most proud of  ... not so sure. This makes me sad now. But for this very moment I am proud of having had the guts to move on and do whatever I wanted in life and not what everyone else expected me to do and be .

4. If I could choose one outfit to live in it would be  my special Cali jeans (don't ask) paired with my awesome blue top from Urban Outfitters, a colorful (pink) tank undernearth and my favorite sandals. Casual, cute, sexy...all in one. Woohoo .

5. People are   People. Sometimes they suck and sometimes they are the best thing ever in life.

6. I would rather stay in bed or take a bubble bath    than   go go out today...but i have three plans for today so I can't skip anything.

7. I love my  my hair right now  more than  I actually should   .

This post is short.
I am still tired from yesterday, my feet are regaining their regular temperature, and my clothes are outside getting back to smelling perfect.
Tomorrow is another day of Carnival time...and then on Monday the fun continues...until Wednesday early morning!!!! Let's hope it won't be as cold anymore...and as snowy!!! It was awful.
And yes, I took pictures. With lots of snowflakes coming down. Then my fingers froze and I gave up. I'm trying to take more on Monday as were told it should be nicer and tiny bit warmer. Yeah right.
