The holidays are literally and officially around the corner. Thanksgiving is in ten days, guys, and then baaaammm, December with its festivities begins. Thanksgiving this year will be a sad event for us. Our plans to spend it with family collapsed. Main reason?! Work. That is all I am saying. I am beyond annoyed, and disappointed.

BUT, I have already started holiday shopping. Most gifts are already in my possession, just a few here and there need to be found, wrapped, packed and sent or at least put aside so I can put them under a big green and festively decorated tree once the time comes. Shhhh, Santa doesn't bring those gifts, you know?! It has always been me, no one else. Let's keep this to ourselves. 

This year my budget is pretty tight. I can't afford what I would love to buy and get my loved ones. However, I still don't want to sit back and wallow in self pity over the fact that my poor self cannot be generous. Who said generosity is about money?! Seriously. This does not prevent me from lusting over items I wish I owned. Besides, I have been sick for a while {hence my lack of blog posts lately}, mostly staying in bed or on the sofa sleeping or watching all kinds of TV shows. This is then the perfect time to start thinking of all those wonderful items I would love to own myself. Fingers crossed I get at least a toaster and my favorite perfume!

Fall Wish List

1) Kate Spade Glasses {I am obsessed}
2) Plates by Kate Spade {different design}
3) this wallet comes in different colors {I want magenta, or dark blue}
4)  Kate Spade Crossbody in either cream or black {did I mention I am obsessed with KS?}
5) Ankle booties that are comfortable
6 LLBean fleece sweater {purple is a must}
7) LLBean vest {it is getting colder and I always wanted one}
8) I have my stylist on Stella&Dot and found this necklace
9) a new phone. maybe the iPhone 6? Maybe just the 5s...my good old 4s is deteriorating

Fall is around the corner even though we are still having temperatures in the mid and high 90s. I cannot wait for cooler temperatures to arrive. Living in California this may not be happening as fast or as beautifully as it does in other parts of the world but I am still looking forward to this season change. Having moved up to NorCal fall does happen more up here than it does down in the south. I am excited. Also, we have family in northern Nevada and since that is high dessert it does get cold there and it may even snow, so I must be prepared.

You probably noticed my Kate Spade obsession. I found cute glasses and plates and would love to add some fun, color and sophisticated yet still subtle touch to our little place, but I will wait. I might add these to my Christmas list. I am all about money saving, and I am actually pretty good at it. Also, this month I am not buying new clothes or anything for me or the man unless it is truly necessary {like when he comes home with a hole in his work pants...hmmmm...how the heck did that happen? Luckily those pants were old}.

I try to keep my clothing items as long as even possible, but what I wore at 20 may not fit me anymore and kind of looks outdated and used by now. Cleaning my closet for fall is always fun!!! I am so getting rid of so much stuff, and yes, will donate if possible.

Wishlist for Selma by Join The Gossip

Hello there! My name is Leeann and I blog over at Join the Gossip. I'm so excited to be guest posting for Selma today, not only because I adore her blog, but also because I've had the pleasure of hanging out with her before and she's pretty awesome. In honor of our girl's birthday week, I put together a little Kate Spade gift list because she loves her Kate Spade!

How cute is that clutch though? And the mug? OK it's all adorable and now I feel like each item needs to be on my birthday wishlist!

A Girl Can Dream and Wish

So, every year I have this desire to tell people what I want on my birthday. It's not just presents. I am not that greedy. A girl however always wants to get spoiled, and especially on her birthday. Some girls may not want to admit it but birthdays are fun, and should involve some fun spoil sessions.

Anyways, before I completely ramble on and forget what I initially wanted to write about...here's my wishlist for this year's birthday. I can dream, can't I?!

 Yes, I want an iPad. Mini or Air...I don't care. It even rhymes. :)

If you don't know or have forgotten I am moving soon. I am also moving on my actual birthday.
Good thing is, I will be spending the day with my favorite person.
Also, once arrived in terribly hot Sacramento I am sure I will find a way to celebrate - even just a little.

If not, I will pretend all week long it's my birthday! :) 

But really, all I would love is a cake, an iPad, and oh yes a job.
If I can sip on some bubbly too, my day will be more than just perfect.

Spring Wish List 2014

Spring started over a week ago. I was too busy packing for my trip to northern Nevada and California so I couldn't share my spring wish list with you. Today, however, I am ready. Spring in Southern California could be mistaken for summer. We have had temperatures that would make most people jealous. Up north it was a bit chillier which made me miss the warmer, more steady temperatures. So I put together this little wish list with items I am longing for. 

I am a girl who loves her scarves, so naturally I had to put two in. Also, my love for loose and comfy tops, black, and one-colored items has not changed. I have started flipping my wardrobe - after all I am no longer 20. I am far beyond that. I got carded the other day which made me blush and feel special but to be honest it also felt awkward. The girl who carded me was much younger and gave me one stinky look. I don't know if I should be offended; she either hated the fact that I didn't look my age (or close to it) or she just didn't like knowing she looked older. I thought she was older. I blamed her make-up. So, after this awkward incident I felt like changing my wardrobe even further. I love my college shirts, my old worn in Tshirts and jeans but it is time to change. I don't want to look my age because after all you are always as old as you feel and I feel 26, but I want to look more mature, more girlie, more me. So wish me luck.

If you have any suggestions on how I could change, or what I should change first feel free to let me know. I have this gigantic pile of clothes I am giving away soon, too - cleaning out my closet so to speak. I cannot tell you what a wonderful feeling this is. The clothes I have put away already are not even missed. I bet that if I looked at all the clothes I would be surprised to see an item or two I didn't remember I had. Spring cleaning is literally happening around here.

My Christmas Wishlist

Yes, I know, Christmas is three months away. However, I love Christmas. I cannot wait to decorate again, bake gluten free cookies, hear the songs, and wrap presents. Well, unwrap presents is more like it. ;) Then again I know, that's not what this holiday is all about. Let's be honest here, most of us have long lost the main and major reason behind this wonderful family fest. So I am not ashamed to talk about my holiday wish list. ;) Plus I never fully had a wish list...and now I do...so why not have fun with it?!

What's on my wish list, you ask?!

Well...there's an iPad mini (yes I know nothing special!), a few gift certificates for my favorite stores, a Kate Spade bag, a MK bag, some more KS stuff (I love her), a nice pair of boots, new pair of earrings, a ticket to Hawaii (ha!), a ticket to Chicago (more manageable), a car (hahahaha!), snow, no drama, and a healthier and happier me. 

I think that's not too much to ask, right?
And the last few wishes are pretty much possible, too.

So all I need now is a birthday coming up, or Christmas.
I let you in to a secret...I sadly never get any birthday gifts, let alone Christmas. I know it's never about gifts but we all know we make wishlists and wishlists should be crossed off from time to time. I would really once get a few things crossed off my list. Hopefully one day.
