Happy Valentine's Day!

{via}

I'm not one that celebrates this holiday.
Call me cynical. Please do.
Call me unromantic, too. It's okay.

I love the decoration though.
And the photos I get to see on Pinterest mostly.
Not gonna lie. I am a romantic girl. Just not today.
Maybe it's because I'm single.
Or it is that I just think there are 364 more days to show your love and appreciation
for others or your loved one.
Who knows. It is just not my day.

Plus, today was someone's birthday so it's weird to know she no longer parties.

And, above all I am stuck at school all day.
Thursday's kinda suck, don't they?
We are almost there...one more day and it's the weekend.

Whatever you do today, enjoy it.
I will too, just differently.

Happy Valentine's Day!
I so need a drink.

xoxo

P.s.
I chose to give up gluten for lent! Wish me luck. Are you giving anything up?
I never give up anything for lent.
Last time I did I was probably forced to when I was eight and attending church and all.
So this year it's kind of funny to go for a 40-day "cleanse".

I don't celebrate Valentine's day either but I do love all the photos. I wore a heart sweater that I posted on Instagram and I love it. This day is a glorified day of love. I can't believe that people buy into buying chocolates, flowers, etc., it should be bought any other time of the year, not just on valentines day. Anyway, it's come and gone...

You go! you can totally give up gluten. my sister and my good friend don't eat it. I've thought about giving it up but i loooove carbs. You can totally do this though!

Haha, I seriously considered giving up gluten, but I just couldn't take the plunge. I used to become vegan for Lent every year in college, and one year I gave up alcohol, but this year I didn't commit to anything. :( Good for you, though!

i celebrate valentines....i love it! now i'm not spending money on ppl but i do buy myself flowers. this year i bought some for blog-land!
but i think of it as a day for ALL love--not just romantic. yes, we should celebrate love daily but the same can be said of thanksgiving, right? we should be thankful and gives thanks more than just one day! but yeah, i understand why it's hated so.

ppl get so mad at me for celebrating it, which i think defeats the purpose! where's the love, man? ;)
have a great weekend, sweety, and thanks for being patient with my nerve damage issues.

nope it's not a holiday. It's an overrated, fake Hallmark holiday. I'm not bitter, really I just don't like the hype. I've had 7 awesome Valetines with Matt but just not into it

I'm wit you - I love the decorations but not necessarily the day. Actually, I am indifferent. I don't care either way BUT it does mach you realize how single you are lol.
