I just got home, am sipping on some green tea and am eating unhealthy but oh so yummy
because on the thing it said:
My clothes are spread out all over and it seems my contacts are dry and in need of some cleaning solution. My stomach doesn't really feel healthy but who cares. Ok, I care, but still. Christmas markets are fun. The only thing I don't like about them is the strong smell that usually comes (of course) my way...what smell?! Think...sausages, cotton candy, and some hot cider, wine and beer all mixed together. Yuck. I love all of them individually but not at 9am! And certainly not all together! Plus, as colorful and warm and cozy this time of year is, and Christmas markets and parades are...it is also the time of pickpockets. Thankfully, nothing happened to us but it sure happened to a lady in front of me. I didn't see it, unfortunately, otherwise I would have helped or done something (if my brain had worked right that second) but she wanted to pay something and oops...her wallet was gone! Probably forever! This sucked. I felt sorry for her. Nothing happened to us, so I'm definitely thankful for that. As much as you want to pay attention to your belongings, the human mind is trained to get distracted sometimes and in that particular second (just one unfortunately) your precious money or whatever else is clearly taken and gone...you may not even notice it right there and then but after a certain time you go "Where the heck is this or that?!!!!" So yes, as much as I love this holiday season I hate to say that I certainly look forward to some more quiet time without the hassle of walking through tons of people and holding onto your things so tightly your hands' muscles are sore at night!!!!
Here are a few pictures...I'm still not used to my new camera...obviously I need more practice!
Though these are a few pictures I was able to take while strolling around...
...oh, and yes, some of you noticed my page is snowing. And yes, it's not you it is definitely my page. Unfortunately I forgot how I even ended up getting the code for that one. Love it though!!!
So, have fun with these pics...

Those pictures are awesome! That's crazy about the pickpockets being so bad! I need to remember that when we go on our New York trip this year. It's not something I really worry about around here but definitely something to keep in mind. Hope your weekend is fabulous! XOXO
