Fill in the Blank

I'm still on BLAH MOOD...but this Fill in the Blank Friday by Lauren always helped cheer me up...besides, three more hours and I need to be at work again...eight straight full days...can't wait!!!! :(
And yes it's been raining here so this pictures describes my mood perfectly.
So here are my answers:
1.  The best thing about being in school was/is    carrying books around so I looked like a total genius...but the uber best thing was the bell ringing telling us class was over  .

2.  The worst thing about being in school was/is     a few teachers that were yelling and stuff...and some ugly homework due the next day (of course!). There were times I stayed up till 4am.

3.  My favorite subject in school was/is    English and History.  Sometimes German and Geography, too.

4.  One subject I wish I could have mastered/would like to master is     math and French. I dreaded both classes. Every single day. I used to be good at math and then one day something must have hit me and I happened to stay clueless.

5.  I could never get tired of studying     English; and especially History - namely WWII.  I'm fascinated by it.  I just can't wrap my head around how so many people went along with such a huge atrocity - it blows my mind . *had to copy the whole thing Lauren said about WWII because I couldn't have said it better!*

6.  The most memorable teacher I had was    my first and second grade teacher. The best I ever had. She was gracious, strict, and very nice. Even today when I see her I'm amazed on how little she's changed.

7.  If I could choose between going to school for the rest of my life or working for the rest of my life, I'd choose    school if it meant just learning and no homework. But of course work...I would get money so I could pay for stuff and not worry too much about it...

So, happy Friday everyone!
Hope you're enjoying the last day of this week...unless you have to work over the weekend like I do.

And wherever you are...if you've got the sun we've been waiting for, I'd appreciate you sending some over. Thank you. No one signed up for this awfully cold weather; it's June!!!!!

Can't there be a 3rd choice: school, work or goofing off. I choose goofing off =-)

If school was just learning and no homework I'd definitely pick school too! I will never miss homework.. it's the worst!

History and WWII fascinates me too, but it's just so sad to dwell on the Holocaust for too long, but at least it gives us the power to change our future. I think I would rather gain knowledge than work the rest of my life too, but then again I guess we usually (if it's a good job) gain knowledge through our work anyway.

I love WWII too! I love watching anything or reading anything about it. I have this really cool book that's a photographic history of the war. It's huge and amazing.
