Back Friday And Gay Men Will Marry Your Girlfriends

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and are still full from yesterday...I sure am! :)

Happy Weekend, or shall I say....Black Friday Mania???

Trust me, I'm ditching today...as much as I love shopping I don't have money right now and even if I did, I want to stroll around without the hassle and knowledge of someone trying to "steal" my items, yell at me, push me, and just make me feel miserable. I wanna go shopping and try things out without endless lines in front of the dressing rooms (because, yes, I try my clothes on before I spend money on them!!). I wanna enjoy shopping. Black Friday is the day that ruins my kind of fun. If you're out there...or have been...have a fun time. :)

Here's something to make you smile (or not). I lol'ed so much I had to share it.

I may have too many nail polishes now...

If you follow me on Twitter, you know that I was going to get me some new nail polishes today at cheaper prices. Most of them are either 50% off regular price or even more than that. I already love the 50% off anything so you can just imagine little me going gaga over OPI and Essie at that location.
Some of you (thank you) suggested a few colors and I was looking and looking and found out they may actually come in next week or mid-October. The newer colors or more popular ones are not sold there yet (obviously, getting more money for a product is always better!). So I got different colors instead. And since it's pretty much 90 degrees outside I just can't start with fall colors yet. It just doesn't feel right.

So here are my newest additions to the nail polish box...haha!

Some fun white-ish pink...Kiss the Bride by Orly!

and of course my favorite brand

Additionally I bought top coats, nail files, and had a fun girls' (mid) day. We even bought a few colors at $1 which is amazing...not sure if they last or not but hey, who turns down $1 nail polish?! Not me!

And since it's Friday, it's Friday Funny time!

Keeping Up With Kelly & Co

I decided I am sharing some quite fun and very annoying video with y'all. This is pretty much what you get as far as entertainment goes when you are surrounded by children of all ages. And lately that's the case, besides going to school and reading weird books. NOT that I would ever allow my kid to watch this but oh well...they introduced me to the annoying world...and since I love Wasabi...I just couldn't resist! But I'd ruin that orange...really!

Happy Friday everyone!!

What Should I Say?!

I am kind of speechless.
Can someone please explain this picture to me?!
Is this paint on the dog? Or is this a very special breed? Or, am I hallucinating? Do I have to google more?!
Help on a Friday evening is needed. Desperately.

I read it was in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Still, what is up with that cutie pie of a dog?! Hmmmm....

Glad you liked the pink pictures yesterday. Brings spring closer, no?!
We all need that, at least us, freezing off our butts in the middle of February.
Can you believe March is almost around the corner?! Freaky!!!

Happy Friday everyone.

Friday Funny - Total Randomness

Happy Friday everyone.

Instead of the usual Fill in the Blank I decided to go for some fun stuff I came across this week...thanks to Kelly's idea (when was that? Beginning of this year?!) to share whatever made our week fun and whatever made us smile. :)
Keeping Up With Kelly & Co

So here we go:

Gotta love my preggo friend H. and her baby not wanting to come out of her...she posts the silliest stuff on facebook while killing time. Made me seriously laugh!!! Loved it! If you haven't heard of this or seen it, I highly recommend it! That was on Monday....

1. Go to Google maps. 2. Go to "Get Directions" 3. Type Japan as the start location. 4. Type China as the end location. 5. Go to #43 in the List of Directions. 6. Laugh, and repost...

*and today, Friday around 11am...no news on my friend's baby. Due date was Nov. 4, but apparently the baby likes the womb! I so wanna see my friend finally be able to hold her little one for real*

Then I came across this quote; it just made my Tuesday:
 via

But on Wednesday I saw some weird stuff on TV. People really need to find another hobby or something else that makes them special...and unfortunately, I was eating while I saw those pictures/videos...and I always thought I had a big mouth. ;)
Here's what's a found in writing and here's the video. Sorry about the quality but it's all I could find!

And click here for some more bizarre Guinness book records...I'm just shocked and in awe...can't decide.

Yes, that's about it for this week...I also had my very first yummy gingerbread latte which just made this November even more special. It's going to be even more exciting and amazing once I land in Los Angeles...and believe me, I've been organizing stuff, packing or not (I literally hate it - what the heck am I supposed to bring with me...I have no clothes, shoes, or bags...I'm lost)...but until then I try to get as much as possible out of this place, and then get ready for some awesome times back in my favorite state!

Have a fantastic Friday and weekend!!!!

My uncle's visiting tomorrow night and it'll be super interesting eating dinner at 10pm and then making sure he gets to the airport on time on Sunday morning...a visit is a visit...better than nothing! :)

Friday Funny with my five new boyfriends

So, it's again Friday...and well this means usually two things.
Today I decided on finding the funny moments I enjoyed this week and one particular email came to mind.
So I am playing along with Kelly's Friday Funny.

Keeping Up With Kelly & Co

So here is the email that made me smile and that made me actually press the forward button!!!

My Five New Boyfriend!

I am seeing 5 gentlemen every day:

As soon as I wake up, Will Power helps me get out of bed.

Then I go see John.

Then Charlie Horse comes along, and when he's here he takes a lot of my time and attention.

When he leaves, Arthur Ritis shows up and stays the rest of the day. He doesn't like to stay in one place very long, so he takes me from joint to joint.

After such a busy day I'm really tired and glad to go to bed with Ben Gay.

What a life!
Oh yeah, I'm also flirting with Al Zymer and thinking of calling Jack Daniels or Johnny Walker to come and keep me company.

Now remember:

Life is like a roll of toilet paper.
The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes...

...so have fun, think 'good thoughts' only, learn to laugh at yourself, and count your blessings!!!

Pictures to this message would have made it funnier, but again, I'm having troubles uploading them so I won't bother with that. :( It's a hassle I have no time for and one I would like to skip if I can. :)

Happy Friday everyone!
I was thinking to post something completely different for today and failed.
However, this post is something to look at, smile at, and remember that life is precious and shouldn't be taken for granted. And this again, makes me realize that those travel plans I have in mind are the best thing I ever had; at least for the current state I'm in. So, I should embrace this fact and book that ticket, and if I need to stay longer change the ticket (even if it costs me something), because I will have time and I should enjoy every second of it. If I try to please everyone around me (I would miss out on Christmas markets in Germany, a huge birthday party, and the annual Christmas dinner with so-called friends) I will get nowhere and end up more miserable. It's time to take action. It's time for Selma-time!!! It's time to be selfish...for once (or again?!).

ironically, I was able to upload this picture.

Happy Friday!

Friday!!!! Fill it all in, and have some fun

Ok, didn't know what kind of title to put there so there you go...a mixture of everything.
It's Friday, it's October 1st (ohmyohmy!), and it's my day off. I woke up to the smell of waffles, although there weren't any around me so that felt weird. I made coffee, had some, enjoyed some sunshine (barely visible...too much fog or clouds or a combo of both), and am now sitting again in front of my laptop. I have good reasons...one, I am going to find a flight that'll cheer me up (hopefully), and I want to catch up on my TV shows...yes I just said "my" TV shows. Not sure if these are good reasons, but who cares. I have no plans for today. I want to stay home and relax, take a bubble bath maybe, sleep some more, maybe do a home-facial or something...paint my nails, read a book or so...just be me at home doing nothing and still doing tons of things. But before all of this...here's Lauren's Fill in the Blank for today!!! Have fun.

1.   True happiness is     being and feeling  loved, appreciated, warm, and burden-free.

2.  The most surreal moment of my life was  /is  when I encounter deja-vu moments with scenes that could never have happened before but are happening right now. These make me dizzy and confused. Not sure if this counts as surreal though .

3.  My favorite texture is       tweed, and silk. And oh, smoothed wood that just calls for my attention!!! ;)

4.  My signature color is     black, gray and brown. Yes, not purple or pink and yes, not just one color! They match with everything and go with everything else; at any time.

5.  My signature style is    simple earrings, and a necklace that goes with my outfit. Sometimes a scarf too. Nothing too much though.

6.  If I could choose one store to spend my life savings at, it would be     ...not sure...just one?!  Not fair!! I think J. Crew then. It's got pretty much everything a girl needs or could need or whatever. Then again, I would never want to spend my life savings on just one store let alone spend my life savings on a store in general. ;) I love to mix and match from all different places, so this is quite a tricky blank to "answer".

7.  My best thing about autumn is      the layered clothing, and the warm drinks that come in handy now more than ever. However, fall over here kinda sucks and is mostly foggy, wet, and so not colorful...so I would say the layered clothing is the best!!! Keeps me warm.
For more fun, visit Lauren's blog and play along. :)
And for some fun moments...
Keeping Up With Kelly & Co
I didn't really come across anything that would brighten my week.
However, opening my reader today...first thing I saw was the following link...kinda made me smile. And that's what needed, every single day. No?! Yes!!!!
http://bitsotruth.blogspot.com/2010/09/0156.html

Hope you're having a fabulous Friday.
Can't believe it's October already.
I'm so behind everything. And yes, although I just started buying Christmas gifts I need to hurry up...what if I'm spending Christmas in California instead of Europe?! And then I would have to send all those boxes out before I leave because there's no way I'm going to take it all with me and send it from there. Way too complicated (maybe cheaper) but way too much to handle and think of. Crazy thinking today. And I still don't have a job to look forward to but am thinking about vacationing?! Someone please give me ideas or at least a doctor's number so I can go in and talk and get better?! Ha!

Happy October 1st!!!!
Wow.

Friday Funny

Keeping Up With Kelly & Co

Ok, it's been a while I shared some fun stuff I came across during one week. You'd think a week's long (and yes it is if you look at it - in seven days so much can happen and so much can change your life!) but sometimes I just failed to notice the fun parts in my daily mundane life. This week though I somewhat tried to look at it from a different perspective. I had three days off, all in one row and just knowing I would have this made my whole body and mind smile. Sounds weird but is true. So, anyways...on my way to a different city (so I could go shopping and eating and having a day off away from this town!) I read the newspaper and came across something I just knew I had to share.
Before I show it to you please keep an open mind and don't judge. This is not shown or done to offend anyone at all. It's mainly for pure pleasure and some occasional laughs. Trust me, I had to laugh, because some things are so true and some are slightly true but could be and just made sense. Very funny, and just very unique. Wish there were more of these...

Right now I live in the land called BANK. ;)

And the following is how Europe looks like or is divided according to the US:

all pictures *and more* by Yanko Tsvetkov

Again, this was not meant to offend anyone. I just thought it was funny...there are lots of other maps on his site and one made me laugh so hard I almost peed my pants. Ha, yes. Then again, it may only make sense to me or some others that know some details about other European countries...but it just made my day. :)

And yes, can you believe it's already Friday?! Impossible.
Time sure flies.

A year ago I was in Istanbul celebrating...two of my friends getting married and I had the best time ever with family and friends. Time does fly and it doesn't wait for us to make our moves it just does its own moves.
So, with a year having passed by and me trying to find ways to smile...here's a pic of me on my friend's wedding day. Look at my hair!!!!!! How awful is that?! I didn't want that, but the hairdresser thought it was oh-so-chic. Yeah right. I look like 20 years older!!!
I tried to make it look better but it's still blurry...then I used my cousin's pic and it's all weirdly stretched...oh well. At least you get the picture! Ha!

And this is what my day today, thanks to Krystal. She mentioned this link and I had to watch *yes I did* and it made me smile. :) Thanks girl.

Have a fabulous Friday.
I'm going to look for another job, find a school so I can continue my constant urge to learn more (even at my age!), find a cheap flight to Los Angeles, ways to make New Year's Eve 2010 amazing, and well...basically, if all fails I'm gonna watch TV and be a real couch potato. Besides, two books are waiting to get finished this weekend so I need to hurry up. My eyes already hurt just by knowing they'll be used quite a lot today!

September 3, 2010

Friday...time to smile?! Maybe.

I'm trying real hard to stay positive, happy, energized...ya name it. Real hard.
One good thing...only six more weeks and I can call myself unemployed. Ok, this is not a good thing. I know. But I know one thing I'll be relieved. Scared like nothing ever before, but relieved. I've a good day at work today (which is good!!!), but this one day doesn't make all the bad days go away.

So, in order to skip my usual Fill in the Blank Friday...I'm going for some smiles...hopefully.

Keeping Up With Kelly & Co

This week the main thing that made me smile and happy was that the sun decided to visit us again. Great fall weather has arrived so far and seems to linger a bit longer for us all. Can't and won't complain. :)

I finally got an email from my aunt in CA and it seems she will be around if I decide to visit her this fall or early winter. I'm still contemplating on whether or not I should visit California again. Don't get me wrong. You all know I love and miss it, daily. However, I don't drive anymore and being in southern California and not able to move "correctly" can and will be a little hassle. Either way, her email brightened my day. *although on a sad side note, a family friend died just recently passed and reading this today made my sad, real sad*

And well, the one "funny" thing this week is THIS designer. He might be now flattered that he found his way onto my blog. Yuck. However, look at him. Just look at him!!! I beg you to!!! It made me smile. Big time. Not sure if it was a nice smile or not, or a nice laugh or what, but it sure made me smile, laugh and just have a good time. I saw an interview today on TV and it was just...hilarious...his face did not move. At all. It looked like the one Ms Doubtfire had on or has on or whatever. Just very fake, just very unreal...and just so very gross. Sorry guys but that ain't my style. Nonetheless it found its way onto my blog and even though I'm not a fan I thought I had to share this with all of you.

Off I go to some well deserved TV time and then back to bed...I have early shifts this weekend meaning I need to get up at 5 am, get ready for work and leave by 6 so I get to experience some super cold morning, maybe some fog, and then lots of sunshine in the afternoon. Yay on the latter part.

Happy Friday to all of you.

Hope you have amazing things planned for the weekend!!!

At least I call it Happy Friday & I filled something out...

Without further blahblahblahhhhh...it's time to share some of my weekly smiles :D

** Knowing one of my friends got married and was a stunning bride. Wish I could have gone to her wedding and could have been part of her very special day. She got married on Friday the 13th...and I saw videos and pictures of her special day. :) Someone was awesome enough to post stuff on fb. Thank you!
Look at her cake? Isn't it gorgeous?!!! And those cute little figures or whatever you want to call them?! Can I eat these?! Looks like it.
 via facebook

** A message from a great person. Hope she receives my virtual hugs!!!!

** Received and felt appreciation by clients of mine...I appreciate them for appreciating me. I may sound way too chipper and happy when I talk to people but it's what this job is all about. If you can't do that you can't work there. Sounds bad, but is all true. This is what my job is all about: making others feel special, and make them feel happy. I can't undo harsh words or actions or anything else gone wrong but I can try. I've tried, and sometimes I get positive feedback back. That's always making me happy and smile. :)

** This video (thanks Krystal) - this made me smile a lot. Don't we love this city?!

** Summer returning...even just for a few days. Let's enjoy it now before it's gone again.

What made you smile, laugh, happy...all that and more?!

And well, it's Friday...and if I'm not super busy or away or tired or something else I try to keep up and join Lauren's Fill in the Blank...

1.  My favorite current TV show is   True Blood, but Pretty Little Liars is a very very very close second.

2.  The TV character I can relate to most is   no one in particular. There are times I feel like I am Erica (in Being Erica), then at other times I feel like I'm Felicity! And then again...no one at all. It depends on the situation I'm in and how much make a s how influence me. ha!

3.  My life is like (fill in with TV show and why)....  hmmmm...tough question, I have no clue. I guess TV life is more exciting than real life, so technically it's super boring and lame.... :(

4.  My all time favorite TV show is   Friends. Lame maybe, but when I feel sad, or terribly bored all I need is a bunch of Friends episodes and I can laugh again. :).

5.  A TV show that is ridiculously stupid, but I continue to watch is   anything on MTV. Really.

6.  My favorite TV couple is   Chuck and Blair from Gossip Girl, but also Marshall and Lily from HIMYM *they're so cute, and ridiculously funny I love them* .

7.  One TV episode I could watch over and over again is   when Rory (Gilmore Girls) gets invited to a Life and Death Brigade weekend in the woods. She gets to dress up, and then be part of that great stunt. Love that time, and the fashion... awwwww....

Want to read more?!
Fill in the blank's available over at Lauren's. :)

Happy Friday everyone.

Hope your Monday starts beautifully...sorry if you have to go back to work.

This statement is so true, at least for me! :)

Friday Funny

The first three days of work are behind me.
So far so good. I'm exhausted though. Crazy. Is it possible to be THIS exhausted?! Really?
I wanted to nap, but nope...decided to catch up on Pretty Little Liars, read blogs and enjoy the current moment. It's about the little things in life. Right?! As silly and as unimportant they may be, the little things are important. I know that; and I won't forget that. :)

Happy Friday everyone!

Wait, no, I wanted to post something...
...so it is Friday and this normally means two things: Fill in the blank, and Friday Funny. Sometimes I can do both, sometimes not. Sometimes not even both. But today...it's one of the...which one?! ha!

Keeping Up With Kelly & Co

 There are two things...
...one...this cute guy decided to join us on this planet... :)  Welcome!! So happy for Jess and her family.

...two...an email I got last week but totally forgot to share it earlier...re-read it again and it made me smile. A lot. Besides, every time I use the bathroom this story pops up in my head. Wonder why. ;)

Why women go to the toilet in pairs...

When you have to visit a public bathroom, you usually find a line of women, so you smile politely and take your place. Once it's your turn, you check for feet under the stall doors. Every stall is occupied.
Finally, a door opens and you dash in, nearly knocking down the woman leaving the stall. You get in to find the door won't latch. It doesn't matter, the wait has been so long you are about to wet your pants!

The dispenser for the modern "seat covers"(invented by someone's Mom, no doubt) is handy, but empty.

You would hang your purse on the door hook, if there was one, but there isn't - so you carefully, but quickly drape it around your neck, (Mom would turn over in her grave if you put it on the FLOOR!), yank down your pants, and assume " The Stance.."
In this position your aging, toneless (God I should have gone to the gym!!!) thigh muscles begin to shake.

You'd love to sit down, but you certainly hadn't taken time to wipe the seat or lay toilet paper on it, so you hold "The Stance".
To take your mind off your trembling thighs, you reach for what you discover to be the empty toilet paper dispenser. In your mind, you can hear your mother's voice saying, "Honey, if you had tried to clean the seat, you would have KNOWN there was no toilet paper!" Your thighs shake more. You remember the tiny tissue that you blew your nose on yesterday - the one that's still in your purse. (Oh yeah, the purse around your neck that, now, you have to hold up trying not to strangle yourself at the same time). That will have to do. You crumple it in the puffiest way possible. It's still smaller than your thumbnail.

Someone pushes your door open because the latch doesn't work.

The door hits your purse, which is hanging around your neck in front of your chest, and you and your purse topple backward against the tank of the toilet.

"Occupied!" you scream, as you reach for the door, dropping your precious, tiny, crumpled tissue in a puddle on the floor, lose your footing altogether, and slide down directly onto the TOILET SEAT.

It is wet of course.

You bolt up, knowing all too well that it's too late. Your bare bottom has made contact with every imaginable germ and life form on the uncovered seat because YOU never laid down toilet paper - not that there was any, even if you had taken time to try.

You know that your mother would be utterly appalled if she knew, because, you're certain her bare bottom never touched a public toilet seat because, frankly, dear, "You just don't KNOW what kind of diseases you could get".
By this time, the automatic sensor on the back of the toilet is so confused that it flushes, propelling a stream of water like a fire hose against the inside of the bowl that sprays a fine mist of water that covers your butt and runs down your legs and into your shoes.

The flush somehow sucks everything down with such force that you grab onto the empty toilet paper dispenser for fear of being dragged in too.

At this point, you give up. You're soaked by the spewing water and the wet toilet seat.

You're e-x-h-a-u-s-t-e-d.

You try to wipe with a gum wrapper you found in your pocket and then slink out inconspicuously to the sinks.
You can't figure out how to operate the faucets with the automatic sensors.....so you wipe your hands with spit and a dry paper towel and walk past the line of women still waiting..
You are no longer able to smile politely to them.

A kind soul at the very end of the line points out a piece of toilet paper trailing from your shoe. (Where was that when you NEEDED it??) You yank the paper from your shoe, plunk it in the woman's hand and tell her warmly, "Here, you just might need this".

As you exit, you spot your hubby, who has long since entered, used, and left the men's restroom.

Annoyed, he asks, "What took you so long, and why is your purse hanging around your neck?"

*This is dedicated to women everywhere who deal with public restrooms (rest??? You've GOT to be kidding!!). It finally explains to the men what really does take us so long. It also answers their other commonly asked questions about why women go to the restroom in pairs. It's so the other gal can hold the door shut, hang onto your purse, and hand you Kleenex under the door!*

now that's a nice one! ;)
I wouldn't post something without a picture from we ♥ it! ;)

Hop on onver to Kelly's blog if you want to join the fun!

Now, happy Friday everyone.

Friday; it is Funny and it is Fill in the blanks...

Keeping Up With Kelly & Co

Friday Funny and me normally are good friends...for the past few weeks, heck months, we haven't really been the best of friends and I'm kinda sad about this. I mean, come on, who doesn't like funny moments or moments to look back that brought a smile onto our faces?! I sure do. However, it's been though.

Well, I was bored at some point this week and decided to surf the web and find some fun in life...even with previews. And then I found the following one...canNOT wait for this movie!
The video might just be huge, so I apologize...I can't seem to make it smaller. I know how, but it won't let me. So much for Friday and its weekly madness.
Enjoy it!!

I sure will be laughing a lot!!! :)

And on another note...Katie cracked me up this week, too.
Just with THIS post.
Thank you for that!!!!

So hop on over to Kelly's blog and join the fun of Friday Funny.

Then of course, I'm lazy and don't want to blog twice a day...here's the all-weeker...Lauren's Fill in the Blank. :)

1.  This weekend for The 4th of July I'll be   celebrating a little, watching soccer (yes!!), and leaving for London! :)

2.  Fireworks are     boring. Yes, they can be quite "beautiful" but all in all they are a little overrated.

3.  Nothing says summer like     hot summer nights *preferably out with friends*, eating ice cream and strawberries at night, wearing sandals or no shoes all day long, walking on sand and looking for a light breeze to cool off...and yes, city trips!

4.  My favorite summer memory is  when we went to Yosemite and stayed for one full week. It was hot, and it was cold and I woke up at 6am every single day. Wonder what hit me then, but all I remember is I wanted to start bright and early and enjoy the day to the fullest. Yay on that energy of mine.

5.  My favorite thing about summer is     lounging in the sun, eating outdoors at every meal possible, walking around in comfy clothes (summer clothes are comfy clothes!), and the fact that it doesn't get dark or cold until late.

6.  Summer in a word is    awesome! *yes, couldn't think of a more appropriate word*

7.  If I could choose to have summer or winter year round I'd pick    summer. Not with heatwaves in the 90s and 100s, but with constant 75 degrees and a light breeze from time to time...and if it cools down to 60...I don't mind either. Just nothing below that .
Loved this one!
Bring it on summer.
It's going to be 90 degrees today...oh yes. A few weeks ago I was complaining about how cold and wet it was and why summer ditched us and look at us now?! We're sweating our butts off...haha. I love it. I'm not complaining. It's summer!!! YES!!!!

So, happy July everyone and happy Friday!

Friday Funny - Respect Nature

And I'm kinda on a roll here....I'm so tired it's not even funny anymore but what can I do?! I woke up at 5am and it's almost 7pm right now...so I have to keep myself awake a little longer and then head to bed early. Early shift again tomorrow so I have to be responsible and as you all should know by now I'm a very responsible person. :)
So, all this blablahhhh aside...it is Friday and although I'm tired I didn't forget about Kelly's amazing blog and her weekly Friday Funny! I'm sharing a video with you I saw a few times on TV. It's not my favorite but I think it's cute and makes me smile every time I see it. Respect Nature! Basically, if you respect nature, nature will respect you. Love the frogs!!! ;)

And the main thing that makes me happy again is that the spell check's working again. Woohoo.
I type so fast tons of typos happen and sometimes I just can't go back and re-read everything I've written so I'm thankful for this little cute icon up there helping me make my blog look sort of flawless. ;)

So, now, it's official...Happy Friday everyone.
Go on over to Kelly's blog to read more Friday Funny Stories.

Friday Funny

Hooooorayyy! :)

Keeping Up With Kelly & Co

I finally made it...I'm online on a Friday and I have something to share that cracked me up this week. Actually today while watching TV...thanks to Ellen and her awesome show I have to share something with you all. ;)
So, the video you're about to watch is about a girl just having her wisdom teeth pulled out and well...that's what happened after. :) Her mom recorded all that. Pretty cool considering she didn't even shake the camera at all. I'd be cracking up so bad. Don't get me wrong. I know how it is not knowing what you're saying or that you said something...and then seeing it later on. The girl was on Ellen's show today...and she said she really doesn't remember anything. :) It made my day for most of the part. I got awesome looking pants at Kohl's today too...for $7.20!!! Hello? Is that a deal or what?! So the video was fun, and the shopping later on too. :D

Anyhow...here's the video.

Happy Friday everyone! :)
AND YES, don't forget to check Kelly's awesome blog out.

Fill in the blank Friday and Friday Funny and the usual me

So it is Friday again. I love Fridays. No, not because it's a day before the supposed weekend, but just because I could play along Lauren's Fill in the Blank and also Kelly's Friday Funny...but today...I really have to push myself.
Why?!
The usual...work...our computer crashed today. Of course. The first three hours it worked fine and around 9am it all went down. Luckily I did most of the work before 9 so I didn't lose anything or had to improvise much. However, guess who got the blame???!!! ME!!!! I got yelled at *he may not have yelled at me, but it sure felt like it because his voice is so strong and sounds so aggressive* and he wondered why I didn't say anything right away. I was like "What do you mean? I said it right when it happened. Right where everything crashed I came to you and told you. *he's also the main computer guy now, his wish, not ours* What else is there to do?!" Then he said "You should have said something when it happened." Me: "I did, right at 9am. It worked fine from 6.30 on so there wasn't any need to call you or let you know about anything that didn't even happen!" *or should I have called him at 6 in the freakin' morning and let him know that the system might crash at 9am?!* Really. What the hell was that?! So then he realized I might be right, but of course I got the blame. Then after about two hours or more the system worked again. Someone needed a guy to fix some things somewhere (ok, don't know exactly what but that's why we have guys for that...haha), and he wanted the phone number. My answer *and I know how that sounds but it's all true*: "Sorry, we don't have his number. We're not allowed to have his number apparently because our architect doesn't allow us to have it!" *and yes, all true, he doesn't want us to have that guy's number - we have no idea why not but it's the way it is* He went: "What's his name and his company's name?! You at least should know that much." Me: "Unfortunately we don't. We have no say in whatever and therefore don't know squat. We asked him thousands of times to get the number but he wouldn't let us. Call him and ask him yourself if you don't believe me, but we have absolutely no idea where he lives, works, or whatever. And his name alone doesn't help us much it's way too common." Of course he didn't believe me and kind of wanted me to look bad. I got back-up by some electrician who knew our problem with our architect and his say in anything regarding everything. But of course that didn't help. Eventually they found out...YES, that I was right and they were wrong. They didn't get the number, so go figure. I felt like a very very very stupid person. I knew I was right, and I knew that nothing was my fault but I got the blame for everything that went wrong today, didn't work at all or wasn't right.
So, needless to say I hate today. I just hate it. I don't like talking about hate or bad days but I always claim that writing helps and it does help a little. But sadly it's not enough. :(

I was sooooo looking forward to this Friday and everything and now this?!
So, in other news...my work pants got dirty too, and I was about to walk out the door when everything went weird and fell onto me for no good reason. :(  So, Friday, March 12, 2010...not my day. For sure.

However, yes, today is the lovely Katinka's wedding day!!!!
So everyone be incredibly nice and hop on over to her great blog and wish her happiness and lots more on her very special day!!!!! :) Woohoo!!!

And, it is Lauren's Fill in the blank Friday...so I'm gonna do my very best here!!! :)

Here we go...

1.  The best day ever was  my friend telling me she was pregnant. I called her *our routine back then* and she told me she was expecting her first child. I was so excited I wanted to book a flight out to SF right that second. I didn't but I was definitely happy and super excited. *and yes I know this doesn't top much but I'm sure there's going to be a better best day for me some time in the future*

2.  My favorite meal of the day is    when I can sit at a table and eat a warm dish because at work I don't get to eat anything but some nuts if I'm lucky .

3.  This weekend    will be like all the other weekends...spent at work and feeling lonely and sad. :( oh well... .

4.  Never in my life have I   felt so hopeless and stupid as this week. I know I am not stupid but it sure feels like it. Time to say bye bye to work, and hello to new adventures. Really.

5.  The only thing better than   sleeping in is   taking a bubble bath, listening to chill-out music, and then watching TV or a movie in my PJs all comfy and warm...and then go to bed and maybe sleep in the next day. Ha!!!

6.  I could really do with some   waffle with strawberries and whipped cream and a good cup of coffee .

7.  The most recent thing I bought myself was   a scarf. I felt I needed something that might cheer me up and make me look forward to spring and its warmer weather...and it just so happened that I saw it again and couldn't resist, so I bought it. And if you were wondering...of course it is purple. ;)

If you want to read more Fill in the Blanks...make sure to go over to Lauren's blog and join the fun.

*******************************

And yes, it is also Kelly's Friday Funny...and I just thought I'd combine all of it in one post...and yes I know how long this post is going to be but I better do it now or I'll forget it or worse I write about my miserable life or whatever. And of course I know that I live a blessed life and that I have to be thankful for everything I am and have and all...because there are millions of people out there not being this fortunate and not being this healthy and all. I know that. Don't want the focus on me, but sometimes it's just leading towards the narcissistic Selma writing. But here we go...

Keeping Up With Kelly & Co

The only happy and funny moment I had was going out for dinner with friends, and then cracking up on the way back to our Sushi table/bar/whatever because we were just being very silly...but of course I don't have a picture of us doing silly stuff in the bathroom *don't ask, it always happens there* and then cracking up in front of some very hot guy. Crap. ;)
But I also got an email from a friend with cute little pics and I just wanted to share this on today's Friday Funny post. It's rather cute than funny but oh well. It's something that brightened my day so it's worth sharing.

Poor little one but it kinda looks cute. ;)

Happy Friday everyone.
I'm so gonna take a bubble bath and then head to bed early.
xoxo

P.s. Blogger has again some space issues...and please ignore my typos and weird sentences today...couldn't think straight any longer. ;)
