I went out today. Just quickly. Ended up going home to drop some things off and then head out again because there was nothing in the fridge and I was starving. It was 1.45pm. Well, I ended up not getting anything anywhere. I just wanted something small, a sandwich would have been okay. Something small, easy, and that would make my stomach shut up. The only place that had something to offer was a Kebab place and I wasn't craving any of it, nor was I in the mood to eat "false" Doner Kebabs because I know the real deal. Plus, that so-called Turkish stuff you get here (it is edible, and I have been to those places and I'm not saying it's bad or not good...just for the record) is just not what I call small, quick, easy and light. So, what did I do?! I went to a grocery store and bought a couple of things and then headed back home again to eat a tiny sandwich at 3.10pm. I wanted to be out there and not stuck in the apartment. I wanted to live life which apparently I've been lacking (hence the summer/fall misery still lingering around...if you forgot or never heard/read about it then click here or here).
Either way, I'm about to contiue reading a book I started two days ago. Bright, Shiny Morning by James Frey. Not sure if it's any good though. I like his writing style. It's rough, very direct, and very just about to piss most people off but for some reason I find it also filled with emotions. Maybe not visible to anyone. I might like it, I might not. We'll see... as long as it keeps me away from all the negative thinking and keeps me distracted and sort of inspired for a week...
...and oh, I caught up on most blog entries of yours...it took me a while but I'm back to my daily routine, and having less than 100 entries to read...
Happy Wednesday!
