I just got back from my shopping trip. Lucky me!!! I found things I actually can and will use! :) I spent a fortune on stuff (even though I just bought five things) and am now broke (considering my monthly paycheck...this is bad!), but it's life and we should live it now and not put it off and just wallow in self pity (like I did last year!). I won't tell ya what I got (not that important anyhow) but the main colors are purple and gray!!! What else, huh?!
This shopping trip was overshadowed by one of my panic attacks and the fact that I thought I was going to faint right there at the mall. Not sure what happened. I didn't faint (yay!), and some coke and very very very HOT Asian soup made it all go away. I was in heaven! :) It might have also been the pill I took before I even got to the glass of cold coke...who knows. I feel much better now. All relaxed and happy.
At home I turned on the TV, watched an episode of Veronica Mars (what's up with all those old shows...where are the new ones?!), and then heard fire trucks going nuts around the building. My initial thoughts where "Wow! Is it burning in the old town? Or is one of the sights of the city in danger?" No. It was just practically the building across from ours. Or it was the basement for that matter. No, I didn't see anything. I didn't smell anything either. No one got hurt, just some people had to be taken to the hospital for some check-ups. Glad though it's over. It's all I can bear for today. Then I just realized I wanted to post some of my winter pictures...they make the smoke and fire alarms and all go away...why? Not so sure...but here you go...
All pictures taken by me right after Christmas Eve, and the last ones I took yesterday and the day before! ;)
I don't really want to live in such a place. But it looks cute, doesn't it?!
The clouds slowly came close, so we had to leave early.
Didn't want to be stuck on top of a mountain.Down in Grindelwald again.
There was this one hotel that had its own ice-making-water-throwing machine......basically water in the air and there's lots of ice around...yay!
All the pics above were taking in and around Grindelwald, Switzerland
The next ones...all taken this week on my way to work.
Early in the morning...
Early in the morning...
I tried to capture the cold air!!
Without the cold air showing.
For those of you that have been to this city (Luzern/Lucerne)...
...this is the wooden bridge in the background...
I wanted a pic of the snow falling and it worked...just the bridge is almost not there! ;)
It's still my favorite picture!! :)
Oh, and thanks for all of your comments. Love them all.
I will tell you where I'm going to travel to when I know more.
All I know right now is that I want to drink some hot milk with marshmallows, and then head to bed early.
I need my beauty sleep! ;)

Holy snow! So, since I'm new 'round these parts, I'm kinda out of the loop... but do you live in Europe??? How did you end up there?? Wow!!
xoxo J
I get in trouble because I like to shop a lot too! The good thing is you can always return it if you decide you don't like it or it's not worth it!
