Movie Time

Yesterday I went to the movies. I saw "Did you hear about the Morgans?" and it was a cute little movie. Nothing very exciting and nothing too funny but enough funny to sit down, eat popcorn, and watch SJP ride a horse and shoot some bullets. It was a fun afternoon.
This got me thinking and I started checking on what movies come out this year or at least come to the movie theater here in town...and I think January and February will be expensive months. They don't have matinee shows over here, so it doesn't matter if you go in early or late the price is the same. Mondays are movie days which makes the ticket $4 cheaper but that's about it. Just to give you an idea...I spent $17 on my ticket yesterday. Popcorn excluded. Sigh. I'm going to suffer but it's all going to be worth it. Hopefully.

So on my list are...

Something to cheer me up (maybe also make me hungry)

...just to watch one of my favorite actors again (and it's not Jude Law)

...and to make me feel more miserable I have to watch this one...

...and hopefully by maybe March they decide to show The Blind Side over here as well. For some very odd reason I think they're not gonna do this which makes me incredibly sad. I saw the trailer, read so many wonderful reviews and all, I wanna to watch it. I need to see it. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Meanwhile I'm going to enjoy expensive movies...yay! ;)
But just in case, you've seen one or two of them already and hated it let me know. It might help me save some money! ;)

Happy weekend everyone!
Do you have any fun things planned?
Tomorrow I'll be working again. Bummer. Oh well.

xoxo

I haven't seen "Morgans" yet, but I have seen "Up in the Air" and "Sherlock Holmes" and both were FANTASTIC! "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" is my FAVORITE children's book and it's on our Netflix queue, can't wait until we get it! And I can't believe how many top actors/actresses are in "VD"?? Looks really good! :-D

Hope your day is going well!

17 bucks and that didn't even include the popcorn?!?! What!! I didn't see the Morgans but I plan on catching it on dvd. Whenever Leap Year and Dear John open over there..I highly suggest those!

I saw a million movies in the last two weeks, and it did get kind of spendy, seriously, I saw at least four movies since Christmas, just in theaters. I saw Morgans last week and liked it too. I will wish for them to start showing the Blind Side over there, because it was another one I saw and it is so good!
