Kate Spade Gift

My IRL friends know that I am in love with Kate Spade. Actually, my IRL friends don't know that. Just a few very close friends do. The rest of my very close friends have never heard of her name, just because Switzerland is a little behind in that department. However, those that know me know I love KS. Can't help it. I'm gonna buy my third pair of sunglasses in August, and I own pink earrings, and now even a fantastic purple wallet or mini bag. What will be next?!

I posted this on Instagram and got instant likes...guess we all like Kate Spade?!

Lately...

...I have been feeling a little off. I can't blame it on the jet lag anymore. Sadly. It's now gone and I'm just feeling blah. This is normal, right?

So, I had to go out and head to Target. Target always makes me smile, especially when I come close to that one section that sells cute items. Just like that above mug. Isn't it cute?! I had to take a picture. Didn't purchase it. But couldn't resist its cuteness. Ahhhhh....

And as every girl, I also needed to feel girlie again...with clean nails, cuticles, and a brand new nail polish color brightening my confused day. :) It's Thanks a Million Windmillion by O.P.I. Loving it!!

I might not have purchased the cute mug, but I did get these pink flats. Couldn't resist. And that price? Come on!! Plus, I only have either black or gray shoes so a dash of color really has never hurt anyone, me included. Cannot wait to pair these with my favorite new scarf and top!!! I'm slightly excited!

I love this gum. Period. It's like having the best time ever in your life (so to speak) once you put it in your mouth. Okay, I now know how this may sound but yeah, I can't phrase it any different. That is, however, if you like apple pies and cinnamon and all. OH my I need another one right now. I might be slightly addicted to this gum now. At least it's better than soda...I think.

Finally, after so many years of watching How I Met Your Mother I figured out what the name of Ted's wife is (or the mother he always refers to!!). It was a rerun and we just watched it while doing laundry and such , and baaam it hit me. I heard the fun side note and was beyond stoked. Do you know it?!

Yes, no Fashion Post today. I wasn't feeling it :( Well, that's a lie, I actually forgot. Yes, I did forget. Who does that? It's Friday, and Friday means Fashion post. That simple. Apparently my brain didn't think so.

Two More Months

Cannot wait until I see this city again.

I'm getting more nervous and excited about it than ever before.

What will I be doing? Who will I see first? What will I be eating and drinking first?

Going home will be fun.

I'll be also spending my birthday there, helping my friend welcome her fourth child, and just having a fabulous time. Gosh, I miss home. Every day!

Don't get me wrong, I love where I am, but it will never be home. I can create my own world and life, meet new friends and all but it will never be the same. Ever.

I'm counting down the days...believe me!!!

...seriously, I'm having a huge crush on you. Seriously, I love that site. I remember the night I signed up for it, and was put on hold and waited in line, and then the next day I was in. Felt like going to a major club or something.

Today I'm again joining Michelle and her weekly fun of Oh, How Pinteresting Wednesday, and sharing with you which pictures I repinned or pinned because they simply inspired me this past week. Sometimes pictures say a lot more than words! We all know that saying, don't we?

Hope your Wednesday is better than mine.
Hardly gotten any sleep last night, woke up early to welcome the cable guys to fix some things in the house, and then it also started raining. No fun. At least it's not scorching hot anymore. That was bad. I felt like a walking toaster!!!

And if you're not on Pinterest, let me just tell you...wise choice. ;) Hahaha!!!

Hmmmm....

...today I feel weird.
I don't know exactly what it is but life around me feels weird.
Don't worry I'm doing perfectly fine. At least I think so. I just woke up with a funny feeling, a weird deja-vu dream still on my mind, and just well, a really funny feeling. I cannot even describe it.

Nonetheless I managed to work out (wohooo!!), read some more (a book I accidentally thought I already read - whoops), went grocery shopping in two different suburbs, and well...managed to go online. While doing all of this today...I saw signs. Months ago I once mentioned that I believe in signs...I just do. Sometimes they mean nothing to me, sometimes they have so much to tell. Today I saw signs...I felt signs...but my dream was the biggest of all. And then I go online and see things that just remind me that I am a true believer...and once you believe you should fully follow your feelings, and your beliefs. At least I think so.

But for now, I'd like to go back to sleep and dream about one of my favorite places.
I am sure some of you recognize this place, others may have an idea where it is, and again others may just not know where this favorite place of mine is. Just think of a place that makes you feel at home, at ease with yourself and the world, just relaxed, worriless, and simply happy. A place you go back to just to sit in a cafe and sip on coffee or a tea, read a book and watch people. A place you would drive to just for the sake of being there...because it makes you feel perfect. My favorite place does this to me. My favorite place works wonders, and gives me peace.

Sounds incredibly corny but it's what it is.
And yes, part of my dream is about my favorite place too.

Either way, I also believe that my funny feeling has a lot to do with my cousin's passing a month ago. Not exactly to the date, but it's been four weeks. How crazy is that. I am at peace with that. Nothing can be undone, so yes I am okay with that. I am just not okay with the fact that time passes by so quickly...

...in less than two months I'll be a year older and this, my lovely readers, scares the .... out of me!!!! I love my age (and that means a lot to me, trust me!) but I always saw me doing something very different at this age and now I am where I saw me years ago and it's nothing like that. It's neither better or worse, it's just not that. I'm sure that weird feeling I had this morning has also something to do with that. Oh well, what can I say? My little world is going crazy today...

Where Are You Spring?!

Daylight savings time hasn't started over here yet...next weekend. But March to me is the beginning of spring time, and I just do not see any signs of spring these days. Hmmmm....come on!!! Wish I would fly to Philadelphia this spring again just to see things blossom fast and beautiful. :) But this spring I'm staying home, and enjoying it this way...so this leaves me dreaming of flowers, sunshine, fresh air...and all things spring. Obviously.

Still Hooked

Kiss Me

It's this time of year again...everything turns pink, red, filled with hearts and cute little things, lots of lovely flowers and whatnot. ;) I love this holiday, although I dread it. Not going to celebrate it this year, and I'm more than just fine with it. I think. I have my very special mug and I'm gonna spend it with my mug. Pathetic?! YES. Oh well, it's just a day. ;)

My project this week is finding the perfect outfit for Saturday evening!! *I bought something but am not sure if it's the right one* Bachelorette party - without the bubbly. Well, for the bride-to-be that is. We can dig in if we really want to. ;) But by "we" I exclude myself. No bubbly for me, either - at least I'm trying not to get close to any of that...

Eye Candy

How was everyone's weekend?!

I was mainly thrown into a pot of weird feelings. That pot was filled with traditions, old friends, cold air, kids, expensive water bottles, music, weird drunk people, and a whole Saturday afternoon. It wasn't bad, it wasn't particularly good either. My toe still bothered me so I had to make sure no one stepped on it, my body refused to accept that it was daylight, drunk people pushing us wasn't fun either, but seeing my friends again was fantastic and knowing that my favorite kids in the world rely on me and my protection was a bonus. No matter how I'm feeling they know how to make me smile!!!

So, Sunday I'm mostly chilling...trying to regain strength and power....looking out my window it doesn't look too appealing. I know I'm staying home. Good thing I have fun magazines to look at, read, and get inspired by. This leads me to posting the following. Oh I love Sundays!!!

Picture Time #2

If you know me you know I go gaga when it comes to certain magazines. Even worse when they are super cheap compared to what I normally have to pay - then I really go nuts. I ended up buying so many, it made my suitcase heavy. Not too heavy though. ;)
So, reading one of my many magazines last night I found the following and just thought I needed to share this with y'all. :)

If you know me you also know that I can get very emotional at times. I tend to lock myself in and ignore the world and once I enter reality I act as if everything's fine and perfect - even during the very dark times. Acting school paid off well. Oh wait, I never went! For the past few days I've been dealing with all kinds of feelings, and my emotions have been on a constant rollercoaster. It feels absolutely surreal. There are no words describing how I'm feeling, when I'm feeling, and why I'm feeling. I just am. It's who I am and who I always will be. Music, pictures, and supportive e-mails, texts, and messages make it all easier and at the same time harder. Though, positive thoughts are what keeps me going. Remember? I'm making sure to live life as positively as even possible. Miss my friends and family, and I know I will see them soon again!!!
