Kelsey's Wishful Wednesday topic this week is
"I wish' .... I could wear an elegant, classy, and still sexy dress on my wedding day!"
Something I would be proud of, something I could and would see me wearing *because I hardly ever wear dresses*, and just something I would feel comfortable in. Nothing too fancy, or "flowery"...I like it simple, sweet, and classy.
Here's the thing. I am not married.
Sigh. I wish sometimes I was.
I always thought at around 23 I would be ready and have my first child at maybe 25 or 26. Nope.
Life has different plans for me.

Not so sure what these plans are but I'm going with the flow. I think. I hope.
Anyways...so I can and will pretend.
Plus who said girls don't dream...no one!!!

Plus who said girls don't dream...no one!!!
We all do, and we love to do it, right?!
So there's absolutely nothing wrong with my dreaming of a wonderfully fitting wedding dress that will make me shine and feel happy for the entire day.

Woohoo.
I sure keep my fingers crossed.
Maybe one day it's my turn.

Maybe one day it's my turn.
Until then I am dreaming and looking at pretty pictures...
...just like the following ones.
I think this is just very simple, and I love the A-line.
I don't like the hair piece or whatever that is but it's ok. Adds some touch.

Those embroided flowers don't even bother me. ;)
I would probably go with the second one.
Just not in white.
Just not in white.
So, I think that's about it...since I'm not even close to getting married the thought of any wedding dress never fully occurred to me. It wasn't easy to find samples of what I have in mind. But I think to give you an idea I did I great job. ;)
Don't forget to go over to Kelsey's blog and see what other's had to say.
I know I will.
I know I will.
Happy Wednesday everyone!

love those dresses!!
those dresses are beautiful selma! i have no doubt that you will be wearing one of them someday! you are a total catch! have a great day lovely!
I think both of those dresses are lovely. The little flower detail and flow of the skirt on the first one are beautiful, and the neckline on the 2nd one is fabulous!
Beautiful dresses!!
I totally feel the same way. I always thought I'd want kids at 27, now that I'm actually that age, I think I'll wait awhile. I love the rose on the first wedding dress!
I really like those dresses! Pretty!
very pretty picks!
I think you would look beautiful in both of these dresses:o) and I couldn't agree more, life has certainly taken me in a different direction than I thought I would be in too! just embrace it and live each day to the fullest (as corny as that sounds, its true!), xo
That is so cute! I'm getting so excited about Friday! I still can't believe that I'm getting married on the beach! I can't wait to plan my wedding in Germany though! It's gonna be so much fun! :)
Have a wonderful day, hun! :)
OH shoot I forgot today was Wishful Wednesday...maybe I will do this post later today. I love your wedding gowns, they are very simple and beautiful!
So many girls get super trendy dresses and it totally dates their wedding just from looking at the pictures, so I think it's cool that you want something classic and yet a bit sexy. I love my wedding dress, it's something if I had to do my wedding over that I don't think I would ever change. One day you'll get married and you'll find the greatest dress, it's kind of magical when you find THE dress.
I love how simple both dresses are. Very elegant and still fairytale like! I love them :)
They are both really pretty but I especially love the first one!
such pretty dresses! you'll make a beautiful bride one day Selma :)
There sure isn't anything wrong with dreaming! It's like we are suppose to do it!
You can have your cake and eat it too!! I'm not married and don't have kids, and I'm probably older than you are :) I like your blog.
Of course we're allowed to dream! I always take notes (or cut-outs) when I see a pretty dress, just so I have 'options' when finally deciding on a dream dress.. when that time comes!
That first one is beautiful. I adore the floral belt. The one I chose...if I got a redo...is this Kenneth Pool number. Sigh. http://kennethpool.com/gallery/090707/lovely.shtml
Love the flower on the first dress!! Details, details!
That is what pretending is all about, AND the joys and fun in planning before it happens, right?!?!? It's gorgeous!
fun dresses!! I can't even imagine trying to pick just one when the day comes!
Both are so so pretty!
